How much time are you taking off?

I am debating whether 2 take the week of the wedding off, & 2 weeks after...what is everyone doing??

2 weeks for honeymoon
2 or 3 days before not sure.

I'm getting married on Friday. I'm going to work Monday an Tuesday. So 3 days and then take off for 2 weeks after the wedding.

I don't want to leave myself with NO time off for the rest of the year, this leaves me another 7 days to mess around with!

getting married on a sunday, so i won't be taking any time off the week before, then we'll be taking a week and half off after.

hey ladies! just wanted to give you guys a word of advice (well, it worked for me). if you have the time TAKE IT! you will never have a time when people at work will be more understanding, and it was really nice to have 4 days off before the wedding and 2 days off when we returned from the honeymoon to really relax, get back into the swing of things, and have a little more time to bask in that newlywed glow

seriously, if you can, do it - it was soooo worth it, even if it means i can't take another vacation until april.

my wedding is on sunday so i am taking thursday and friday off and then 2 weeks after the wedding.

It stinks planning a wedding out of state, even though it's only an hour or so away, it's a real PITA.

My wedding is on a Saturday super early in the AM. I figure Thursday I may take 1/2 a day because I want to put the welcome boxes together Thursday night at my friend's house.

Friday we have to get our nails done and do other stuff I'm sure and BP is checking into the hotel. We'll do a dinner that night.

We leave for our HM on Monday... I think I'm taking a total of 8 or 9 work days. That scares me big time! I only get 2 weeks vacation and like 3 sick days. No clue how I'm going to make it to November - that means NO DAYS OFF THE ENTIRE YEAR, even summer :(

I wish I had some of your jobs. I only get 10 vacation days.....6 sick days and 2 personal....

My only other option is to take an unpaid leave of absense.....are any of you gals doing that?

Getting married Friday therefore I will work Monday & Tuesday then have 1 & 1/2 off.

Well it is complicated for me. We are getting married on Dec 20th (Sat) and then not going on our honeymoon until Dec 26th because we want to be home wiht our families for our first xmas married. Plus we only have to wait 5 days.

But our rehersal dinner is the 19th (fri) and I will have my finals on monday and tuesday for my classes (yes I am getting married hte week of my graduate finals shoot me now )

But I think I am only going to take off 11 days from work 12/18-1/2 (technically is is 12 but one day is xmas and we dont ahve work on xmas). And withe the weekends (which I dont work) it will be a total of 18 days

My wedding is on July 6 so I will have the Friday prior (july 4th) off so that will be a long weekend for me. However, I have a l lot of time on file from my job so I will be taking 3 weeks after the wedding for the honeymoon and to get some R&R from all the planning.

I am getting married on a Saturday, but rehearsal will be on a Thursday---so I will prob take off Thursday-Friday
We are not sure if we are going on the HM right away---just might fly to vegas for a few days. SO I guess I will only take off a week at most after

I doubt I will have the same job but I'm shooting for the friday before my saturday wedding and then 2 weeks.

i am taking 3 weeks off~~

my company only gives 1 week for weddings so I am using my 2weeks vacation then too~ I am planning on 1week before the wedding and 2 weeks after the wedding~~ I'm excited!!!

I jsut started a new job last month, and they only give you 1 week of vacation after 8 months, then at your 1 year mark you get 10 days...so I'm definitely going to have to take some unpaid time off - I'm thinking right now that I will take off atleast Thurs and Fri before my wedding, then 1.5 weeks after - so I will be paid one week and take another unpaid. I may take 8 days unpaid, though so I can have a full 2 weeks off after the wedding and Wed/Thurs/Fri, before. I feel like I want time before to really bask in the glow of what's happening!

None!!! I only get TWO personal days at Suffolk, so we're going on our honeymoon in January! I'm hoping for Tues/Thurs classes in the fall, this way I can be off Fri-Mon at least.

as of right now i dont get paid if i dont work ( i am a consultant) so i am getting married on a sunday rehersal is the thursdya before so i will go to work thrusday 'work' from home on friday and then take off the next 2 work weeks ... thats my first job my second job i plan on not working after April 5th!!

three days before and two weeks after

honestly, i am only taking the three days before off bc i want to spend time with my family from italy

i know myself and i seriously have everything done. . . all i need to do is get waxed, pick up my dress and get my mani/pedi and i could seriously just do that the day before

i do NOT want to have any time to sit and freak out before the wedding!
