how many days are you taking before the wedding? i'm taking only a week for the honeymoon. thinking that wednesday before (my wedidng is on sunday) will be my last day.
what is everybody else doing??

My wedding is on a Sunday too. We picked our date keeping in mind my summer job schedule (which is pre-set). There are 2 weeks between my job ending and classes starting again. We picked the middle weekend for the wedding so that I'll have a week before the wedding for last minute prep, then the wedding, then 1 week of honeymoon and classes will start again the next day. FH gets to choose when he wants his vacation time so it doesn't really make a difference for him.
Edit: Would have loved to have a honeymoon longer than 1 week, but FH only gets 2 weeks of vacation a year and 1 week for honeymoon + possibly taking friday off before the wedding since he has to fly to NY already uses up a chunk of his vacation time.

My wedding is on a Sunday so I won't take time off before. Our honeymoon will be 2 weeks. Since Columbus day is the day after our wedding and we're both off, we'll only have to take 9 days off from work.

I am a teacher so I purposely picked July so I could have a few weeks off before and over a month off after. I couldn't imagine having to work the week before my wedding, I am a nervous nelly and would lose my mind

two weeks after - my HM is only a week BUT I need some time to get settled with the new hubby before going back to work!

My last day at work will be December 21, and then I will come back January 14th.
So its a little more than 3 weeks

yeah my FH doens't get much time off. So mostly likely it will be me doing all the running around before the wedding.

me too, I will be doing everything right before the wedding, he's lucky hes getting the day before the wedding off with his job lol

We are not sure if we are taking our HM right away so if anything just 2 days before the wedding and then maybe just 3 days after, for a quick getaway to vegas

I'm taking the bar that summer, so I'll take the bar the last week of July and then I'll have all of August to tie up wedding related things (oh, and to try to regain my sanity, mwuahaha).

I'll be taking 3 weeks off. My job gives all employees getting married a week off on the company, and then i'll be 2 weeks out of my own vacation time. First week before the wedding, 2nd week for the honeymoon, and the 3rd week to move into FH's home and get myself settled into my new home. (Bittersweet)
