how much time in between...

the ceremony and recetion? We are having the ceremony at St. Patricks in Smithtown and the reception at Giorgio's in Baiting Hollow. I think the cocktail hour starts at 7pm. I don't want to miss any part of our reception, but I alson want to take a lot of pictures. I would like to have the church at 3:30, get done with the ceremony by 4:00ish and take it from there. Is that too much time to ask our guests to wait in between? I know a bunch of people will be staying at a hotel close by, so I guess that gives them some time to check in....

Another thing I was wondering about.... How will all of our out of town friends who aren't in the wedding party get to the reception. My imediate family will be in the limos, so I guess I just ask my other friends and family to drive them, right? I know these are probably ridiculous questions. I have 22 months to worry about it, but for me that will just be 22 months to worry about it!!

We are finishing our ceremony in Ridgewood at 1:30ish & our cocktail hour starts at 4:30.

We got a limo for our out of town guests, but some will be hitching a ride with some guests from NY.

These questions are nto ridiculous, but you have more than enough time to gather many opinions!

My ceremony starts at 1:30 and is a mass so it will be about an hour. The reception is about a half hour away and my reception starts at 4:30. I figure my guests will have an hour to kill.....

Since there are no major hotel chains on the east end, we blocked rooms near the airport and are renting shuttle buses for the out of towners...
