how much time needed for pictures?

How much time are you planning with your photographers to take pictures with your family/bridal party before the reception?

We are actually having our ceremony at our RH so we are doing photos before the ceremony, and I just want to make sure I plan for enough time. Immediately after the ceremony starts our cocktail hour and we don't want to miss the cocktail hour because we didn't get all of our pictures in!

how much time needed for pictures?

This has been a big issue for us because of travel time and such. We are getting married at the church at 3:30pm. Hopefully it will be over by 4:30pm, and then it takes 20 minutes to get to Planting Fields where we just FH and I want to take pictures. We plan to be there from 5 to 5:45, and then leave to go to the reception venue where we'll have around an hour to take pictures with family before the cocktail hour starts at 7pm. It will be tight but we're going to make it work, so overall we'll probably have between an hour and a half and 2 hours of picture time.

how much time needed for pictures?

We are planning on arriving at the RH two hours before our ceremony. The photographer seemed confident that that would give us enough time for everything. We are not picture people, so I think anything more would be too long for us. We will prob also take some family pictures (my immediate family) at my parents house while getting ready.

how much time needed for pictures?

Our mass starts at 2 and should last about 45mins. We are then having a receiving line and going to take additional photos in the church and with the priest. The hall is then about 30 minutes away but we need to add on a little extra driving time since we have a classic car. Hopping to have close to 2 hours before cocktail hour at 6.

how much time needed for pictures?

This is making me feel so much more relaxed! I was nervous that 2 hours wouldn't be enough but it looks like that's what everyone is doing! Awesome!

Same here! We have a relatively large BP and family I was worrying about how much time we need. I feel like 2 hours wasn't going to be enough and I need to have an extra half hour in there for troubleshooting and getting people to cooperate just from being distracted. But maybe it will be ok.....

Re: how much time needed for pictures?

I'm also getting married at the RH and we are doing a reveal prior to the ceremony. My invitation is called for 7:30pm. We are starting pictures at 3:30, well actually that is when my photographer will start taking pics of my dress (on the hanger) and those types of pics. Actual pictures will starts around 4:15ish. I have about 3 hours for pictures... And I'm doing it at one location. I wanted to make sur I had time for everything and would hopefully have time to relax a little.
