I started kinda slowly sipping prosecco at about 10am with my BMs when the hair and makeup entourage arrived at my parents house! I didn't feel even a slight buzz at the church because my BMs forced me to eat and snack a bit.
We toasted right outside of the Church and my bridal attendant had a glass of champange on hand from that point forward.
I had a perfectly pleasant buzz going the rest of the night!!!
Are you ladies following any sort of cocktail game plan?!

I voted for anything goes. All depends on how well you handle alcohol. But no one wants to see a drunk bride.

I was thinking of telling them to make half of them placebo drinks so that I think I'm settling my nerves more than I actually am. Although, if I know about it before hand I don;t know how well it will work...

We're having our ceremony in a church, so I'm only going to have one drink before tops....then I plan on drinking but pacing myself

i had drinks all day. We had a few mimosas while getting ready, then a glass of champagne in the limo, a few glasses of champagne before the ceremony, and then drinks throughout the reception. But, everytime I would get a drink I'd end up taking 2 sips and then getting pulled away and not finishing it. so although it seems like I had a lot of drinks i never got drunk bc I didn't ever get a chance to drink most of the drinks I had.

I don't think I'll drink much before the ceremony. I don't need to be too laid back and happy before the wedding. I'm already going to be a crying/smiling/nervous wreck. Drinks will not make it easier.

I had 2 drinks before the ceremony because I knew I would be nervous walking down the aisle. The rest of the night I had drinks but never finished any of them
