I started kinda slowly sipping prosecco at about 10am with my BMs when the hair and makeup entourage arrived at my parents house! I didn't feel even a slight buzz at the church because my BMs forced me to eat and snack a bit.
We toasted right outside of the Church and my bridal attendant had a glass of champange on hand from that point forward.
I had a perfectly pleasant buzz going the rest of the night!!!
Are you ladies following any sort of cocktail game plan?!

At one point while getting ready I was in my white silk 'Bride' robe...a full set of rollers....and a full champagne flute....I was like running around my parents house playing around with my BMs and my parents....having a little too much fun if you know what I mean hehehe
We had an evening reception so PACING was the name of the game for me.....once the ceremony was over it was ANYTHING GOES!

I will definitely be drinking the day of but I am going to make sure I don't drink too much. My biggest fear is drinking too much and waking up the next morning not remembering anything.

Slow sips getting ready and then after the ceremony anything goes! We are starting with mimosas during hair & make up and continuing from there.

That is why we got a videographer!
If it gets really bad you might not want to see yourself on video But seriously, I agree with the majority. It would be nice to have a buzz but not get too drunk. Trouble is, sometimes a buzz leads to getting too drunk because you become more loose and willing. I'm determined not to get too drunk though.

We did a toast with the BP in the morning- I literally had a sip of champange. I didn't drink at the RH either (only champange during the toast).
I drank at the after party though.

My family is a pain in the A$$. I will have a drink just to talk to them. I will keep a glass in my hand even if it's water just so I won't tell them how I really feel.
