how much to give?

for a wedding present to a friend getting married at Chateau La Mer...we are good friends but not as close as we were due to us both being engaged and the usual work busy stuff.

Are you going with FH? I would give a minimum of $200, though some brides may say that is not enough these days...

I think at least $200 is enough.

thank you ladies...i was thinking 200 but FH said give more....in all honesty im not close to his FW and i talk to him once in a blue moon now so if we were close still i would def give 300+ but i dont see the point now

I usually give $200 - but if I go alone I give $100....

I usually give 250. The going rate per dish these days is about $125. If you're inviting them, they are going to give you what you give them.
