How much to give for an engagement party?

She is having it at a Hall with a DJ, not formal seating... can you ladies give your advice on how much to give?

$75 for a couple, unless you're super close with them.
$50 if you're going alone.

I mean you should give what you can afford. I have given 100/couple in the past.

If it was just me I would give $50, it was me and FH I would not give anything under $100.

B Party. Hundreds of dollars
Wedding. Gift

This is why we didn't have an E party or a B party. We just gave my friend (who had like an afternoon party at her house) nice champagne to celebrate with.

I think $50 or something small from the registry. Dropping $1,000 each time my friend gets engaged start to get grating
