So today I have my cousin's wedding in Jersey. We are not close. She's the one who RSVP'd yes for my shower and then was a no show (no gift) this was after my sister and I bought her the vacuum on her registry AND she RSVP'd no to my wedding even though I am going to hers. She's paying $75pp (which I know because she posted it on Facebook and then told everyone she wants $$$$ for gifts)
How much do I give her?
Update - So I decided to just cover our plates. And after going to this wedding I'm glad I didn't give any extra. It was... an experience.

Ridiculous. Are you staying in a hotel overnight or anything? I'd give $150.
ETA: Is FH going with you as well? Then I'd give $200.

I would give 150. i know she is not being fair but I think you should be the better person. Cover your plate. If you feel like giving more than give it but I think that is more than fair considering how generous you have been

I would give enough to cover plates maybe a little extra $150-$175
I always tend to be generous and then like what happened to you, get nothing in return. I wouldn't sort change her but I wouldn't give more than that.

Yeah I planned on covering mine/FH's plate but I am just annoyed at the thought of giving her any more than that. My sister and I split a $300 vacuum for her shower and the no show thing kills me bc my mom still had to pay for her plate and she didn't even send a gift/card/or an apology email for not showing up. She just acted like it never happened. I just thought that was super rude.

I'm sorry but I would only give $150. I would be pissed as all hell if someone did that to me. Honestly we had a lot of people not even come close to covering their plate at our wedding.
