sorry, i've read the other posts and i guess this is sort of a spinoff. i have a hair and makeup trial this weekend. i live in westchester and they're coming to me all the way from suffolk. they're being very accomodating and the trial is only $40. how much do you think i should tip? i want to include something for their services and also for their travel expenses. any idea?

I had 2 girls working on me, one hair and one makeup and tipped them a 10 each

thats so weird, everyone who had a trial with them said they wouldn't take a tip and i tried
I tried tipping them $60 each, but this was a free trial, if i had to pay for the trial probably $15 depending on the cost of trial
