I know this is a silly question, but i have been feeling so uncomfortable with the amount of money i paid for my dress, just for one day.
I bought a pronovias dress, it is beautiful.. but $1500.. just seems so extreme...

Re: How much was your dress?
My budget was about $1000, although I was hoping to pay less. There were three gowns I loved. A Watters and an Allure that were a bit more than $1000, and a Casablanca that was $750. I tried not to let the price difference affect my decision, I knew I'd be sorry later if I chose the cheapest dress just because it was the cheapest. Then I realized that I was hesitating because it was the cheapest, that I really did want the Casablanca. I loved the way the other two dresses looked, but the Casablanca was the only one that made me feel like a bride. So that's the one I got, and I'm still very happy with my choice. I wish it would come in, though! I'm getting that urge to go and try on the sample again.

Re: How much was your dress?
mine was 800 but with the bustle, alt.,the poofy thing for under the dress (forgot what it's called), headpiece, and tax it came to about 1800. I didn't think it was too bad!

Re: How much was your dress?
i truly went in and said im not going to look at the tag just gonna try on the dresses i like and the one i love will be my gown. Sure enough i spent 1500. i was actually impressed considering i actually tried on a 10,000 dress and hated it and i didnt even know the price at the time.

Re: How much was your dress?
I intended to stay around $2000 but I saw another dress by Anne Barge different form the original one I was looking at and fell in love with it -- mine was $4000 with $425 in alterations.
