I'm just curious... the particular ring that i would like for my wedding band is a little over $3,000. Is that a lot or average?

Mine was about 1,500 (platinum band inlaid with 2 princess cut diamonds and three baguettes), his was $750 for a brushed platinum band (both were custom made and designed by us with jewelers help)

We're paying $1900 total for both of our rings. My wedding band is a platinum eternity ring with channel set diamonds. FH's wedding band is white gold (his choice) with a brushed center, and diamonds. We got it from the same place we bought my e-ring from, so they took a lot of $$ off for us.

we just got ours this weekend. Fh was originally $459.00 I got it for $257, My band was originally $1600 I got it for $780 incl. tax! I am a bargainer...jewelry has a HUGE mark up, they will come down in price if you are firm enough!

Mine (.30ct diamonds, channel set, with hand engraving on the sides) is $400, and FH's, well, it depends. He wants all white metal, and thinks white gold will be fine.
I don't know, for something that will be worn everyday, I think the white gold will yellow. We may end up looking at plat for him, instead. Even so, his will be less than mine.

Mine was only $80! I wanted a completely plain white gold band, plus it has to be plain for religous reasons, and his was $250 - also plain, but bigger/wider.

yuo can have white gold dipped in rhodium too

mine is a lot- but for what it is it is a good deal
$5K- but it has 5 karats of emerlad cut diamonds- it should be over $10K- but our jewler is our friends- luckily I have a small finger
We just picked ours out this weekend. Mine matches my engagement ring- white gold with Pave diamonds and is about $1500. His is a white gold band and is about $500.

his was $200 white gold, no diamonds.
My band was only $500 antique setting with 3/4 Karat diamonds across the band.

FH is getting 2! He's getting an every day band.... white gold w/ the claddagh ring inside the middle (not regular claddagh) $350 & then a white gold band w/ princess diamonds around $700

Not 100% sure yet, but the ones we've been looking at range from $1000 - $1500 each (for mine and his total will be 2K-3K)
