My dad just asked me how much tip we should give the maitre'd and I have no idea. I know some places have a set price but Flowerfield never told us. And what about the Bridal Assistant? Is there a certain price per person rule? Thanks is advance!!

$1000!!! just kidding!!! the watermill suggested 3-$4 per person. im having 200 people there so that means i have to give $800.. NOWAY!!! i would say around $300..

I tipped my Maitre D 300 and my bridal attendant 150 (if I remember correctly). I may have even tipped a bit higher...But that is what I have written down.
(I think the rule for the maitre d is about 2$ per guest, and I split that for my bridal attendant)

I don't know exactly what DH gave the Maitre'd...I think it was $200-$300.

It depends on the service. They recommend 2-3 dollars per person. But if you felt he didn't go above and beyond that then give him what you feel is right.

We gave our Maitre D $800 but damn was he worth it! And my IL's gave him another $300 on top of that

Not only have I heard the same.. our hall actually gave us that same estimate.. $2-$3.
