I fell in love with a $600+ tiara and I don't think FH will be willing to budge for it. Anyone have any suggestions of where I can find one - looking for a brushed sterling silver tiara - antique look.
Thanks!!

I haven't found mine yet but I've heard good things about tri-county flea market and I'm planning to search there...

I checked at Tri-County, but the tiaras are very shiny. I'm looking for a matted antique look - very subtle. Thanks for the suggestion!!

If it's Thomas Knoell, I say go for it! I fell in love with one and paid a lot for it... but there was nothing comparable. Plus, Thomas is just the most talented and amazing person i've worked with! So worth the $$!!!!

I second Jess's opinion!! He's really great!!! You may be able to find one cheaper with him..but not sure. Good luck

i agree, if its thomas knoell, go for it if you can fit it into your budget! Im not wearing a tiara, but i had hair pins and earrings made by him that i LOVE and will pass down in my family for years to come.

My Tiara was not in my budget..but it was what I dreamed of having. my mom offered and while I was reluctant.. I didn't put up much of a fight..... it was about $900.

Re: How much would you pay for a tiara?
it's all relative really...
I would never pay $600 for a tiara, but I would also never pay $6 for one.
They aren't my style, but I know I have spent oodles of money on things that I loved that other people think I am nuts for.
If you love it, can afford it, and wearing a tiara is important to you then I say go for it.

Re: How much would you pay for a tiara?
Sorry to crash, but I believe that Barron's in Tri-County can custom make your tiara. Did you ask them about that? I definitely would. Maybe you can bring in a picture of the one you like and they can make it for you. I would give it a try.
