How often do you get hit on?

How often do you get hit on?

Is it infrequent? Is it a regular happening? Do you even notice? Has it changes since you've gotten engaged or married?

I think it depends on where I am. Guys like that sort of congregate in certain places, you know...

But generally, not often enough.

I was just talking to a friend about this! Before FH I almost never got hit on, but now that I am engaged (or even when FH and I were getting serious), I started to get hit on all the time. SOOO ANNOYING!

Here too. I really don't encourage it at all. I try to avoid most eye contact with men I don't know in bars, etc.

But yesterday I was driving and a truck driver honked at me. Then I got kind of scared because he kept stopping in the lane next to me, looking in. So I made a left turn to get away from him! I guess little stuff like the deli guy gives me samples of all the meat when he doesn't give DH any. But I don't really consider that hitting on...

ETA: I wasn't good at meeting men even when single. My best friend and I met a gorgeous guy in the Hamptons, and he bought me a drink, but I managed to convince myself that it tasted funny and had a rufi (sp?) in it, so I threw it at him...

Generally I don't pay attention enough, but it's very rare.

I think 4 times-- ever.
2 of them I made out with, one I laughed at in Poly Esthers & one I ran from right before my wedding & I was all stressed out & late for work.

If there were more than that, I didn't notice. I am bad with things like that though.

Yesterday I wore my daisy duke red paisly shirt which shows a little cleavage (Id only wear something like that to a concert) but it was very tasteful. I didnt wear daisy duke shorts though LOL - full length jeans.

Two guys were standing in front of me and they were whispering, but not quietly enough I was trying to act like I didnt hear them..

They were talking about my boobs!! One guy was like - yo man turn around and check this girl out and the other guy goes, whoah boobs dont get any better than that!

I almost freaking died!!! I wish I had the balls to say something back, but I just couldnt...

I often get comments/whistles when I'm walking in Manhattan, especially downtown where I go to school. I don't really consider that being hit on though. I get hit on at bars once in awhile, but I usually try to avoid that by staying close to DH, and making sure my rings are visible.

I have to admit that getting hit on once in awhile is a self-esteem boost.

its worse since im engaged ( i also lost about 5-10 lbs since im engaged and gained some more self confidence, so its the combination of the two)

one guy asked me 'you just wear that ring for show, right?'
i was like, 'uhhhhhh no'

hey if it gets me free drinks with no obligation to give them my number, or to flirt, i cant complain!

I work in a very male dominated industry. I get hit on a lot at tradeshows and other industry events. The good thing is I work with FH and a lot of people know we are together so it is usually just the people I haven't met yet.

I also agree that in general I get hit on more since I have been engaged. I think it's the confidence and the fact that I am not looking or interested in finding anyone else.

yeah i get alot of guys coming up to me seeing the ring and they tell me i'm too young to get married.
