Is it infrequent? Is it a regular happening? Do you even notice? Has it changes since you've gotten engaged or married?

I haven't seen an increase since being enagaged- but I did have one jerk tell me my ring was 'not signifant'
not sure if he meant the size- or the fact the I am engaged??? b/c my ring is pretty big- ( 2 carat center stone- with .7 on each side)
I did have a guy ask me if it was a decoy- like to get more guys- that was funny- he was cute about it

Oh geez it used to be bad when I would take the LIRR to work in NYC. More like a stalker until FH started taking the train then the guy stopped. Now its sometimes when driving or out, it happens in all different places! FH calls them starers!! Men who stare way toooooo much, sometimes it sceeves me out!!!

What's funny is the men in LA do not give you the time of day- they don't check you out- at least not that you would notice. It drives my single and (pretty hot) single sis crazy every time she visits!

I get hit on more then i would think and i think it really increased since being married. I think that has to do with my self confidence. I have more of it now and i think it shows.
I get hit on at work, at stores, in parking lots...and trust me i am not drop dead gorgeous either.
However, when i got to bars not as much as before i had the ring because i think guys look at that before they would come over.
I find in everyday life guys flirt and don't necessarily look for that right away.
Love the ego boost though.
ETA - Now if only i could find Ryan Gosling to hit on me.

Never before I got engaged ofcourse. Still rarely, but certainly more now that I'm married. Isn't it weird how that happens

Rarely - I try not to ever make eye contact or pay attention to people when I'm out.
When I was a receptionist - I used to have to call to make sure certain people were at work when they were supposed to be and one of them used to hit on me mercilessly!!! and he was married.....or as he told me - 'his wife was married'

I agree with this, too. I am an adult ESL teacher and I grew up in Brentwood. I have dealt with attention from certain guys for a long time. Some of them are very forward.
Not many others, though.

I got called 'Joe's hot sister' through the whistles and cheers, and I was even worthy of some guy's a$$. Yup, that's right, I was mooned.

Never! Even when I was single, guys didn't really approach me all that often. I did/do get stared at a lot. I was told more than once when I was single (by guys in bars who had the guts to talk to me) that I look very intimidating and that's why no one hits on me

This was the case for me when I was heavy. Certain cultures embraced my former voluptuousness while others shunned it.
As far as the frquency now goes, it depends on how tight my jeans are.

I wear my e-ring on my right hand, so I get hit on by people who don't realize I'm engaged. They've been really cool about it once they found out.
I'm glad I still get hit on because it makes up for all the times that people call me ma'am!!!
