The ages on these things, as you know, varies from baby to baby, can differ from 6months or more.

I'll give it my best shot...

starts to crawl - 7m?

starts to walk - 10m-14m

starts eating cereal - 3-4m

starts eating solids - REALLY VARIES. Ive seen 7m olds chomping on bagels, crackers, chicken, etc. But its the 1yr mark for me =)
and it depends on what we consider 'Solids'

starts uttering words - around the year mark also, months earlier or months later, and again depends on what you call 'a word'...
alot of what I think are normal babbling sounds, my MIL thinks are full conversations LOL

HTH

and we know everyone's child did it earlier than the other children.

Anna is right that all this stuff will vary greatly from child to child.

The food however, will vary depending upon whether a child is purely BF, or is on formula. Paul's doctor did not give the thumbs up for cereal until around 5-6 months. But, once babies have tried many of the Stage 1 jar foods, they can start to have bland table foods too - they just need to be pulverized in a food processor first!

ETA: the walking/talking things can vary ALOT...Paul walked on his 1st bday...but, I've seen other kids his age (he's 18 mos. now) who haven't walked a step yet. So, it really depends on the child.

Claud, its funny that you said 5-6m (later than 4m) because my MIL was telling me how John had cereal when he was 6weeks old (back in 'the olden days' ) and sure enough we have his Baby Records book to prove it! so here I thought 4m was on the late side compared to stories we hear... but again, there's no early and late..
I didnt know about BF or formula playing a part in that.
I know of some children also that havent walked by their 2nd birthdays and even later. Im not sure exactly what age is the 'red flag' if a child is not progressing where they 'should' but no mommy wants to think about that...
