How old is too old?

Everyone asks me why I'm getting married at my age.. I don't think by the time i get married 29 going on 30 is too old?? what do u all think?

I keep thinking that Mom was 25 and Dad was 30 when they married in 1956. People thought somethng was wrong with both of them because they were 'too old!'

Girls thanks for all your comments. I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels like that. I've been with my fiance since i was 21, thats been 7 years,.. People used to tell me all the time, when are u going to get married, don't u think its time.. I uses to reply back by saying, I'm in school, I want to become a teacher, be financially stable so I don;t have to depend on nobody.
So here I am, our love for each other is so strong, that we stood together for 7 years, we're both financially stable, and waiting to say I do, forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are younger than me (and a few other girls out here). Therefore, I definitely do not think you are too old.

Im shocked... People always tell me how YOUNG I am to get married. LOL
FH and I are both 28... Maybe the people who are calling you 'old' are from another generation where people got married right out of high school? 29 doesn't seem old to me AT ALL.

I am geting married at 32 it's a great age. He will be 33. We have been together for nine years we have grown up together. It just seems right.

I will be 28 and FI will be almost 38 when we get married. We'll have been together for just over 8 yrs when we get married! I certainly don't think you will be 'old' when you get married!

I'm 38, my DH is 41 and this is the first marriage for both of us. You are not too old.

I don't think it is old at all. I think you can be 80 years old and still have the wedding of your dreams...if your in love why not?

We are both 37 and have no regrets about waiting and we do not feel too old to have a fairytale wedding.
