How old is too old for a ring bearer?

We have 4 kids we want in the bridal party. At the time of the wedding their ages will be
Boy-9
Girl-6
Girl-4
Girl-will be just turning 2

FH wants all 3 girls to be flower girls but I think 9 is too old for a ring bearer. Can he escort the oldest flower girl, or can he be a ring bearer?!?

Help

We have 4 kids in our bridal party too!
Their ages will be
boy-9
girl-8
boy-4
girl-2

We are having the older two walk down together and then the younger two!

I think the boy can escort the oldest flower girl down!! It will be cute! Then you can have the other younger girls come down together!

We also have a bunch of kids in our BP and this is how we figured it out.. the flower girl is my little cousin who will be almost 7 and her brother who will be almost 4

We have a JR BM.. FH niece who will be 9 and 3 JR GM.. his nephews who will be 14, 11, and 9

I think you can do whatever you want but I personally wanted my little cousin as the RB bc I felt that 3 to 4 is a good age .. 9 is a bit old .. esp if the kid is big...just my opinion

I'm making my nephew in-law a jr. groom, he'll be 11. He will escort my daughter (jr. bride) down the aisle, who will be 12.

My niece and nephew (twins) will be 7 for the wedding and I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet. Our son will be 3, so he's almost perfect for RB.

I think like anywhere from 4-7 would be good for a ring bearer... BUT FH wants all his nieces to be flower girls. So do I have my cousin ( 9 yr old) walk with the oldest flower girl just without a pillow? lol

My nephew will be 9 when I get married and he MUST be in my wedding, but I think 9 is a bit old for a RB so I think I'm going to make him a Jr. GM so maybe make the oldest FG a Jr. BM have you thought of maybe doing that instead?

But most importantly its your day do it your way!

We are not having a ring bearer, but we are having a FG. She will be 2-1/2 at our wedding.

My ring bearer will be 10 by the time we get married but I love him to pieces so he has to be it! He was actually a family friend's ring bearer a few years a go and he kept running off the altar and what not so I think it will be nice that he is old enough to know better but still too young to be a groomsman! :)
