How old ? Months to Years... Funny topic/poll... =)
Isnt if funny how some moms (hey maybe i'll be one of them ) will say 'she is 27 months old' JUST SAY 2 !!!!
Once I was joking with her and said when she's 8 are you going to say 90 months?(or whatever it is!)
Its just funny to see how people tell their kids ages. Some like to say the 'year' mark right away, and some like to stick with the months..
What do you prefer ? What do you think you'll do? (ANYONE, feel free to answer)

I did weeks till she was 4 months then switched to months... now she is 1 year until she is 13 months then i will switch back to months until she is 2 or so when I will go back to years

I'll probably do weeks and months until the 1 year mark, then switch to years.
I do the same with my pregnancy. I know how many weeks along I am, but I figure who else (besides Patrick, my mom, and my sister) cares??? If anyone asks, I just say I'm in my 5th month.

Months goes till at least 2 IMO. There's a big difference between a 1 year old and a 15 month old and a 1 1/2 yo. But non-parents definitely look at you with that 'I'm converting it to layman terms' kind of look.

I have always heard people say things in terms of weeks and months until about 3 years old.

I agree w/Liz - I have heard parents use months for their child's age until 2 years old. Right now, I tell people that Paul is 14 months old (TODAY - YAY!!!!). I will probably say his age in months until 24 months....but, I do it b/c I don't want to say 'years' yet...I want him to stay little

Claud, I know what you mean about wanting to keep it months, thats what I said I will probably be one of them... it sounds funny to hear sometimes, but im sure i'll be there next year doing just that! (22months, etc)
