How old were you...

When you had your first child or got Pregnant?
I am getting married at 26, but want to wait until I am at least 30-31 to try. Is this ok?

I was 26 when I got married and conceived, i'm 27 now. DH is 39, will be 40 three months after the baby is born, so his age is part of why we tried so soon. By the time we try for 2 or 3 kids that we want, he will be in his mid-40s and I'll be in my early 30s.

34 when I was preg...just turned 36 and Julianne is 2 months old.

Just wanted to add that it is 'okay' not to want children at your age or any age, really. While there are many scary stats floating around now about age and getting pg, that doesn't mean that having a child when you are not really ready is a good idea either.

I knew I was gonna be the oldest!! I was 36 when we conceived (albeit for a week or so ), so, I'll be 37 when I deliver in July (or June - PLEASE!!)

I hope to have #2 before I'm 39 1/2. LOL

Kathi - you may not be the oldest!! I was 36 when we conceived and will be 37 when the baby is born in November.

Turned 29 about 2 months after we conceived and turned 30 almost 5 months after the baby was born...NO plans yet for #2!

27 when conceived, 28 when he was born

MY sister had her first born when we were almost 25, so I felt that amazing bond through her then.
From her pregnancy through each birth of her children...
It was the most amazing thing, seeing the delivery of all her babies, and seeing her become this amazing mother to them...
my 'idol' mom (well second after my mom!)

and of course going through it all myself, was just surreal, and still is.....

tangent again...
