Is anyone over their 'budget' Or slowly creeping that way
We are so over Im starting to get a little panicked, and FH is not helping. He is always complaining about anything that has to do with the wedding because it means more money I don't know what to do

We were creeping up over our budget but then we cut out the band and instead got a great dj with mc and now we are way under our budget!

We are not over yet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we will be over eventually ......... FH says I can have anything that I want and he will do it for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE LOVES ME SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is paying for 90% of the wedding !!!!!!!!!

I have gone over every budget I set for myself with each vendor. I'm hoping I'll be under with some other things though.

I am not sure how smart it was - but going into the wedding - we didnt have a budget set.. and we just booked the vendors that we wanted... so if you ask me - no because we never nailed down a budget, ask FH its all too much

Since FH won't actually sit down with me and determine what our 'budget' is, I'm going to assume we just don't have one and do what I want lol.
That's actually not the case, I'm still being prudent, I have my ideas of what is acceptable and unacceptable for each vendor, and I'd like to think our budget is 8-10k for all major vendors not including RH, and I feel that we'll stay under that.

I'm way over my original budget.. but I think it was a little on the low side anyway.. I know its going to get blown out of the water when we do limos though FH wants like an escalade limo or something like that...

e are so freaking over budget it is sickening.I thought all you need is $50,000- wow I was wrong. We went a little nutso. All in all you only get married once (we hope). It is better to spend a lot to do everything you want rather than settle for something.

I'm estimating that I will be over by like 8,000...which isn't terrible. My problem was not sticking to the budget with the major vendors... I would have a number written down, go talk to a vendor, decide I wanted to book and change the number on my budget sheet thing... probably not the best idea... finally FH said that the point of having a budget was to know where to draw the line, not to change the number whenever I wanted something else... I guess we just dont see eye to eye on that ahhahahahahahaha... So now I'm trying to stick to our higher budget and I promised I won't go over it anymore

We are about 5 k over budget and FH says he does not want to know how much the final cost is going to be. I still have soooo many things to purchase, so yeah we are definitely going to be over budget.

i get so confused... we have our account... in there imo is the money that is counted for the budget, then there is my money, i try to pay for as much as i can out of my pocket, so i dont count that as our budget.
all major vendors are booked, i came in under on some and went way over with others, i am most worried about the rh!! I kinda hope we get a lot of no's!!!!
so am i over budget? i dont know!!!

I am over my initial budget, but that is because I had no clue what photographers and DJs and florists actually cost -- once I did more research and met with a few vendors, I had to revise my budget because I was so clueless at first.

We never really set a budget. We just decided that if we want it & love it then we will have it. I know that sounds abit crazy, but we are paying for our wedding ourselves & when deciding it we said its our money & we get to do what we want with it. I guess owning homes already etc made that decision easier for us.
