New Years Eve and here I am working on setting up the invitations while FH is playing Grand Theft Auto.
We had no plans, and I don't see the point of spending hundreds of dollars for the last 10 seconds of the night, because let's face it, that's what it really boils down to.
And then I'm looking at proper etiquette for addressing, and it says numbers should always be written out unless it's the address number or zip code. This makes no sense to me, because if my father lives on E. 32nd St., then this means on the invite I should be addressing it as 111 East Thirty Second Street?? Blahhhhhhh.
Ok now who wants to come over and help me stuff these. Free alcohol!!! (We have too much leftover, so maybe getting drunk in the house isn't such a bad idea!)

Awww... I am staying at home too and feel the same way.... why blow a bunch of $$$ ? I am already doing that for one party in '06!

as for the invites.....i honestly could give a flying f**k about etiquette
noone cares how their address is written out-- so if I were you, i wouldnt either!
Enjoy your NY Eve....go turn off the GTA and grab FH for some canoodling for the last few hours of the year

listen girl I am home too with Fh playing NBA 2K6 on his stupid Xbox!! I just finished the dishes and getting ready to do laundry!! There is no way in hell am I spending like 60 bucks to get drunk in the city with crazy people when I could be home with my FH cuddling and watching blockbuster movies!!

Well one good thing. I AM DONE PRINTING THE ENVELOPES!!!
Now it's just stuffing time. Luckily, I only have 54 invites to stuff. FH is still playing GTA and is asking what's for dinner. I told we should just order in pizza, have a few drinks and relax.
Oh yeah, and I reminded him he has 5 hours to come up with who his best man is. He has been procrastinating on this for 7 months now, and I told him he needs to start looking at tuxes soon!! (That and I know his friends want to throw him a bachelor party, but they don't know who is in charge!!)
