We had our 3 months after we got engaged and we had it at a Knights of Columbus Hall near wehre I live...we didn't want to do anything extravagant cause then we would have to top that fo rthe wedding

We got engaged in Dec. 2004 and our eparty was in April 2005.
ETS. The eparty was at an italian resturant that doesn't exist anymore.

we got engaged on april 25th and still haven't had one... =0\ we should probably do that, but we just moved and don't have the money to throw a party. i read in a bridal magazine that you should usually have one a year before your wedding, but then again i'm the last person to ask about wedding etiquette. =0P

we're not having an engagement party...his mom thinks its silly since the wedding is only a year away...my mom probably wouldn't go for it...no one else really has an opinion so i left it alone

Congratulations!! We actually have not had our e-party yet - It's been difficult to coordinate since FH is from MIA. However we are hoping to have it sometime during the fall - not sure - we got engaged on 12/24/06

Our engagement party was a month after our actual engagement. My family had a small party in their house w/us and the bridal party.

We didnt set an actual date as of yet. We would love to have a Novemberr or December 2007 wedding! I came on here because, I was saying to myself...omg im engaged!!! Now what haha!! This is a wonderful chat room its helping me out alot!
