For everyone that has booked their florist already, how soon did you book them?

I booked Flower Barn last September or October I think - so that was the 2 year mark. I wanted to book my officiant at the time, but it was too far - so I booked the florist instead. Glad I did too!!!

i booked my florist in Nov 08...1 year and 11 months in advance...I dont think booking now is a bad thing. Florists can only do so many weddings in one day, so why wait and possibly lose out on getting someone you want...

I booked 2 weeks ago with Pedestals So that would make it 9 months before my wedding...holy crap theres 9 months to go before my wedding. Sorry momentarily freaking out.

About a month after we got the hall. I am using Burtons so we didn't have to pick out or flower yet. We just had to know whether we wanted low or high centerpieces.

One of the florists i went to actualy said they are booking for 2012 events now just to lock in the prices.

I booked my florist a little over a month ago just because I love their work and knew that I def. want them. I kinda have an idea of what I want but I haven't officially picked anything out yet, I'll wait till the wedding is a little closer to finalize everything.

My dad is a florist and you can wait till a few months before the wedding to go see them. I would suggest seeing the florist in the season you are getting married because then they can show you which flowers are or will be in season when you get married.

Just met Gina Rose Flowers and I plan to book with her this weekend. She's awesome and works with any budget. My wedding is next May, so its a year in advance. However, Gina is getting really popular and I didn't want to chance her not being available for us. She's so normal, down to earth and approachable.
