They want to have the shower in early April - am I crazy in thinking this is too early? All the showers I have ever been to were about a month before.
I think I am starting to stress about nothing now.

Most showers are held within 6-10 weeks before the wedding. So early April is not to early for yours.

They all vary - April sounds good though. We have a wedding to go to in April and the shower was in January.

That is definitely not too early. I'm getting married 6/12 and my shower is going to be 5/1. I thought THAT was early but people have told me it's late believe it or not!

I've always gone to showers where this was at LEAST a 2-3 month space........between the wedding and shower.

my MOH is hosting mine and having it WAY early because she's preganant and due in April. normally though she way have had it in March because I have a lot of guests traveling and we didn't want them traveling back to back.

My wedding is in September and they are talking about having my shower in late july or early august because me and three of my bridesmaids have to travel from NC to NY for both the wedding and shower and don't want to do too much too close together.

I think it's totally fine. Especially if you have people close to you who have to (want to) travel to both events--gives them a little spread of time to make both trips! It will be great!

yeah it all depends...my shower is March 13 for our JUly 9 wedding since it's my spring break...yeah I know about it only way to definitely get me there then!

I think that is a normal date for a shower.

Mine's gonna be in early April, which is late. But my days off rotate and in April they fall on weekends, so we had no other choice

all the showers i have gone to were about 2-3 months before, so no i dont think it's to early at all. My shower is august 6th, 2 months before my wedding.

FMIL asked me when my sister was leaving for college, which will be at the end of August, so she can attend. So my shower will probably be mid-end August, and my wedding is 11-5.
