One of my aunts who passed away this year had an apartment in her house and said i could rent it for super cheap- mean while i was ready to rent in bellmore closer to where i grew up. I decided i'd rent in my aunts house out in Lindenhurst since it was a super nice 2 bedroom for nothing! My cousins friend kept saying i need to come out in babylon to see how 'suffolk' does it. So we went out in babylon village and ended up in mary carols at 3 pm. It was restaurant week and she was friends with the chef of the restaurant FH worked in. All the other guys were creepy and 2 of them were nasty and perverted and hitting on me. they were talking about hair and i just said I liked bald guys since they had hair. FH stepped from the backround and said ' I am bald' it was love ever since! I didnt even see him there until he stepped forward! I met him there every night that week and probably spoke every day since then. when my aunt was sick and we went to say goodbye to her before she passed away she told me that everything happens for a reason and thats why I was suppose to move into the apartment so I could meet FH. Funny though FH grew up in Nassau in East Meadow 5 min from Wantagh where i grew up and lived at the time 2 min from me in seaford

in college we were in the same major and classes.. i liked him for a while before he started liking me... just took him a little while to make the first move!!

i was helping a friend at a fashion show...he went bc his bro asked him for company to the fashion show...a few glances at each other towards teh end of the night...we started talking :)

Bowling. We were both on the same league, not team. For 3 years, my co-bowlers, and his, tried to get us together. Finally, at the end of year bowling party, I got the nerve up to write my # on a napkin and have my co-bowler give it to his as we were leaving. He called 2 days later. We've been together for 5 yrs.

MY FH's brother is married to my cousin and we met at their wedding. We've been together ever since

One of my BM's was dating FH's tenant/roommate/bestfriend. FH had a girlfriend and we would all go out with me being the fifth wheel. Then one day I went out with everyone minus the girlfriend. Long story short, with my friend pacing in the hallway we ended up kissing and the rest is history. We didn't plan to fall in love, I was his way out of a bad relationship and he was my way to get over a bad relationship. Then one day we looked at eachother and just knew! It really was a suprise when it happened. We alwyas joke that it was the one night stand that never ended!

We were two New Yorker's on vacation in Miami beach. His friend grabbed my hand as me and my girlfriends were walking to our hotel. As his friend was talking to me, I noticed my FH from the corner of my eye. I turned to him and said 'you got some beautiful eyes what is your name?' We exchanged numbers and went our seperate ways. He actually took down the wrong number, but fortunately, his friend had taken my other friends number. His friend called her, we all met at a miami club the next night, and here we are, getting married 9/18/2011.
