How tight is your....

engagement ring supposed to be? I'm a little worried because my first ring was a 4 3/4 my new one is a 4 1/2. But anytime my fingers swell I can't get it on and off. Is this only going to get worse in the summer? Does this happen to anyone else?
Now I'm freakin out because what if FH can't get my ring on in the church? FH says I shouldn't worry its better this way. It doesn't hurt to wear, but once in a while it hurts to get over my knuckle. OMG what is it with my bad luck??

I dont think it has anything to do with bad luck, I have the same problem. Unfortunately we don't have an exact ring size, and we're stuck somewhere in between the middle of diff. ring sizes. My best advice to you, that on the day of your wedding, right before you walk down the aisle, add a little bit of lotion to your fingers so that the ring can go on smoothly.

Other than that, to avoid this problem in the future, I got my ring just a tad bit bigger than my original size, and my jeweler added something to my ring called 'shots' Ask your jeweler about it..it's a life saver, and my ring comes on and off with ease, w/out feeling as if it's going to slip out.

I dont think its bad luck but I definitely think you should get the sizing right.
My ring is 1/4 bigger then my ring size-thats only because my ering and wedding band are wide underneath. Your ering should be your ring size-not smaller. During the summer you may have a problem-during the winter my ring tends to slip on/off easier then during the summer.
