FH and I live together and have for 4 years now. We are paying for your wedding 100% Is it ok that on our response envelopes in our invitations are addressed back to us?
2 people in the last few days told me that it is not proper etiquette to have them sent to us...puzzled!
Any ladies hear of this?

I just did whatever I wanted. We have been living together for 3 plus years - the gig is up as far as I'm concerned. We adressed them as 'The Future Mr & Mrs. His First Name and Last Name'

Yes, I agree with the other posts.....address them how you think is best. I addressed ours back to me, only because I'm the organized one of the two of us.

Be sure to put numbers on the back of the RSVP card that match your master list. We received two responses with NO NAMES just - accept and the number of attendees.
So happy we put numbers with pencil on back

We have the responses coming to us and it says:
Mara MY LAST NAME & ANDREW HIS LAST NAME Our Address
We are paying for the wedding and there is no way that I am going to have them sent to my mom or someone else so I have to call her to find out who RSVPed.

Ugh, people need to stop sticking their noses in where they don't belong. You can address it anyway you would like to, there is no etiquitte for a couple who has lived together for 4 years. Those same people would probably call your living arrangement a 'sin' too. Ugh, people like that drive me nuts. Besides, you are the ones keeping track of responses! Things would get lost in the shuffle if you had them mailed somewhere else and then had to get them from there!

I live with my fiance as well and we addressed the responses to both of us as well.

We did it back to my parents because they are paying for the reception --- otherwise it would be back to us!!

I did do the numbers on response card incase someone forgets to put their name. FH saw me doing this last night and asked why. I explained the reasoning behind it and he exclaimed 'you are the smartest girl alive!...how do you think of everything!?'
