How to address on table place card
For the table place cards, do I put everyone individual like 'Mrs Jane Doe' and another card 'Mr John Doe' or do I put 'Mr & Mrs John Doe' on 1 card? How is everyone writing out their table cards?

How to address on table place card - Long Island Weddings
I have always seen them with one written out for each person, not per couple. That is how I plan to do mine. Especially since some people have really long names and I don't think I can fit both names on the card. Also, we have some families coming, so i wouldn't want to write 'The Smith Family, Table 1' on a card. Everyone will have their own.

I'm doing them per couple, example- mr and mrs john smith. If it's a single person- mr. Brian jones, or mr.brian jones & guest. That way it saves money on place cards.

This is how I have always seen it and will be doing mine this way as well.

yup same. But quick question- for those people bringing a guest. Are you writing 'and guest' on the card or are you going to find out the guests name to write on the place card?

Me too! I know especially as a soon to be bride, I'd want to see me and husband's names together lol. So unless it just wouldn't fit 2 names I say do couples together!

I did it like this:Married couples: Mr & Mrs Smith
Unmarried couples: Mr. Smith and Mrs. Doe
Single people without guest: Mr. Smith
Simgle people with guest: Mr. Smith and guest
For families I did the mother and father as Mr. & Mrs Smith and then the kids individually.

Usually it's done like the invitation was written. So Mr and Mrs, so and so or Mr. So and so & Guest. If you know there name put it!

Oh no! After the first answer, I did them all separately. Is this really rude to my guests? I don't think I have enough cards left over to do them all over :(

It depends on if they're in a relationship. If they are I will write their name on the invitation & on the place card. If it's a friend who was invited with a guest & decides to come with a guest it will say & guest.

Most people put the guests name on the RSVP and if they didn't I put & guest.
I also have only seen them done per couple or family, I've never had my own card.
This :)
