How to change your name

Im getting married in 1 month and I just realized that I have no idea what the proccess is. Can someone let me know what step you have to take or a webisight that explains it all.

Me, I first went to DMV (found out they only allow three names) with my marriage certificate and my birth certificate, SS card and old ID. If you own your car, you need to change your title too, so bring your title.

Then I went to SS office with my marriage license and temp DMV paperwork. THAT was fast.

Called up my insurance company (car) and faxed over my marriage certificate. Insurance, DMV & Title must all match.

Went to the bank and changed my name and ordered new checks (new credit card came too)

Called up my HR folks and faxed them a copy of the marriage certificate.

Called up the actual healthcare providers to make sure they got the info (a week later) and asked to have new cards sent.

Started calling up my major credit cards to change my name.

I still have credit cards in my maiden name and membership cards (AAA, etc) takes time. It's the major credit cards and others stuff i wanted to take care of first. Oh and changed my beneficiary form to include Jim as a spouse.
