Have any of you done a favor table? My favors are pretty big. Atleast 10 X10 boxes. They are 1 per couple. I really dont want to put them on the table because it will hide my centerpieces.
If you did a favor table....did your guests behave and take just one?
Does anyone have any other ideas on how to give them out?

Ask your RH to have the waiters hand them out when there's like an hour left...after cake and everything.

can you put them on the chairs? I'm not sure how you'd handle the one-per-couple thing though ...
or maybe you can use the favors (somehow) at the place card table? like attach your place cards to the favors themselves?

Ours were pretty big too and we put them on two separate tables on either side of our table. FH handed them out at the end of the night. It wasn’t bad as I thought it would be. HTH

pretty much every greek wedding ive been to has a favor table close to the dais... so that when your guests leave you can say goodbye to them and give them their favor

This. As guests come to say goodbye to us and hand us our gift, we will give them a favor from the table that will be next to us. not all the favors will be out on the table, as usually only about 20 of them our displayed and the staff generally replenishes when you have a few left. I don't know how good a table with like 120 boxes would look, especially if they are large!

I wanted to put them by each palce setting but my BM advised me against this. She said that if people ceome early they may start taking them off the tables and other people wont get them. So I am thinking of having my DOC either give them out when the guests come in or at the end of the night. The thing about the end of the night is that if someone leaves early and the DOC doesnt know that person wont get one. I am soooooo confused about this!!

Ok- the pic is really bad, but if you look to the right behind the lamp thingy, the favors are set up in like a pyramid shape on a table. They also had another table on the other side.

FH's friends did a favor table and they physically stood there once people started to leave, said goodbye and handed them out.

Our favors our doubling as escort cards so they will be set up on the piano in the foyer as you come in.

FH's cousin handed out large favors, we left early because I was really sick , but when we went over to say good bye she ran over to her gift table and got it from underneath. I'm not sure how they handed them out at the end of the night. but I'm sure you can either stack them under a table or on top of a table and hand them out as guests leave.

Set up a table by the front door and have one of the staff hand one per couple as they leave.

At one wedding I went to they just had the waiters distribute them to everyone at the end of the night, I think almost right after they brought out desert.
