FH and I dropped the ball and forgot to mention this topic to our contact at The Bourne Mansion before we signed the contract. I'm wondering what the average cost of a meal is for a vendor and what it consists of. ( I'd especially appreciate info from Bourne brides)
Thanks gals!!

Re: HOW TO FEED A VENDOR Bourne Brides especially
I didn't mean to offend anyone - if I did, I apologize.
I just don't think it is right not to feed them or assume they should not be fed just because they did not specify it in a contract.

Some places they eat for half, free or they may even suggest that they eat at the cocktail hour. I would call your hall.

Just found out my vendors are half price. So, just the DJ & photographer. I doubt my officiant will stick around.

I am going to feed all of my vendors even though it is going to cost about an additional $700 - $800. It is only $35 more per person and it must be exhausting to work without some food in you. I don't know, just rubs me the wrong way not to feed them - almost cheap-like
Well..shouldnt they come to the place on a full stomach. I mean my wedding starts at 3pm and ends at 8:30pm...only 5 1/2hrs...if they come on a full stomach, and maybe have an appetizer here and there they should be ok. IMO. I just cant see spending anymore money on this wedding, besides I am already paying a lot for their service...I cant see paying to feed them. Sorry if I sound cheap, just my opinion.
It is kind of an unsaid thing for the vendors. Most expect to be fed and think about it, if you were working at a party for hours (no matter how many) wouldn't you expect to have something to eat. It is just the right thing to do....so they perform their best for you. If they are happy they will make you happy.

Hmm...I guess I should contact my BM because I never thought that you had to feed them. I mean I dont think DJ's are included in this right? I mean they are suppose to be playing music all night long...I will be feediing my videographer beause he is a close friend of ours...I guess I would have to include my photographers as well. I hope my reception hall discounts prices for them

DJ's are included....remember they do take a break once in a while or alternate between two of them.
