How did you BTDT mommies find a pediatrician?

I asked around, friends, neighbors, etc. Once I got some reccommendations, I looked them up on: Search for a Physician

What area do you need them to be in?

My cousin kept telling me how much she loves her pediatrician. So I told my OBGYN & he said that's where my kids go. So that was good enough for me. they are the # 1 on LIJ's list (so I was told)

Ask around. Word of mouth is really the best advice. Do you belong to any mommy groups? (lots of moms join even before baby comes). IM sure there are BTDT moms in those groups who will have great referrals.

I am going to meet with my first one today Jenny so I will let you know how it goes and what I find out, in terms of the interview appt.

But I know you are supposed to ask about their views on bfing, formula, vaccines, well care, office hours/emergency care, hospitals that they practice at.
