How to get others involved in wedding that are not in BP

One of my slight regrets is not having friends in my BP. I could probably change it, but for financial reasons we'll keep it the way it is (and this way the BP will be even). Also, my 2 jr BM and 1 FG take up lots of space!!

So...to get other people involved in my wedding that are not in my BP, how can I make this happen? I know readings are an option, but I have a feeling I have to default and go with my uncle for one of the readings.

I know my friends and other family members can help out along the way- but how else can you give them a 'role' on the big day?

Thanks in advance for your ideas!

I had this problem, my cousin is getting married 1 month before me. And she is using my two younger cousins. So I am asking my cousins to do a reading and the younger ones to light candles for the grandparents.

My other options were having someone announce the wedding party, hand out programs, petal cones. Good luck with the search!

Hey Tara! Well you could have your friends do a reading at your ceremony. One of my BM's had a very small BP and decided to do family only too, so she had me do a reading, it was nice to be involved and it was nice to be asked.

ETA: i just read the other post, lol!!! this idea was already given

readings are a meaningful way to include people. Also, inviting them to get ready with you , or do activities in the couple of days before the BIG day.....like pedicures/manicures, etc.
