ok, so about an hour ago, my eyes strted to get spotty, so i figured a migraine was coming on....i took 3 advil and had something to eat.....then the spottiness left, but now my head is killing me. i tried to lie down, but it bored me and i hate being bored...... any other suggestions?

Excedrin migraine. Ice. It might be a little too late for the Excedrin, I usually take it THE SECOND I feel the migraine coming on, but give it a shot. REST!!!

Take a bath with some eucalyptus oil (only a little bit, sometimes scents can make a migraine worse).

thanks....but i have none of that stuff in the house and i can't go out to the store looking like i do now..... i'm going to pick up some excedrin migraine next time 'm in the store though! i think it might be getting a little better....it doesn't feel like someone is sitting on my head anymore!
how sad is it though, that when my head was killing me, and i couldn't see anything - i was still trying to read the LIW threads? Now that's addiction!!!

Feel better... exedrin migraine is a mixture of two pain relievers, I think it's aspirin and tylenol with caffeine. So if you have those 3, you can make that yourself.

i should keep somethign around becuase i get them probably once a month or so......but i hate to be dependant on medicine.......

I know...some migraines are hormonal!
I hate the medicine thing to but i HATE MIGRAINES! I get them on both sides of my head and it is soooo painful...

Also, cold, wet compress on your forehead. Lay down in a quiet room with it over your head.
