I've been to weddings where either of these have been fine.
Are you planning on putting your favors on display somewhere for guests to take?
OR
Will you go around distributing your favors when you go around to the tables?

I'm not going around to tables, and i dont plan on leaving them somewhere for people to take either...
My favors will be on the table when the reception starts...

I'm not going around to tables, and i dont plan on leaving them somewhere for people to take either...
My favors will be on the table when the reception starts...

LOL!! i didnt mean for it to come out that way... ive seen people leave them on a table so everyone can take one... but then you have people taking more than one...
I'm doing a set of coasters for each person...

HAHA No I didn't mean that towards you just I realized how I'd written it. Also FH is trying to 'help' which means he has all of these IDEAS about how to do things.

We haven't decided yet. Either one of two things....one is that we will have a table with all of the favor boxes on it near our table and by the mailbox that we will be putting all of our envelopes that people give us in. As people come up to us and give us their gift, we will hand them a favor. If not, we will leave them on the tables......

I would tell the RH that the # of placecards = the # of favors to put out and obviously I'll have extra. I have so many extra that now we're debating doing one per person but like who the heck wants to take home that many shot glasses that say Dan and Chrissi's wedding lol

i will indicate to the RH how many favors to put on at each table. if i do one per couple (i havent decided what im getting yet) then i think the couple would automatically assume to take just one if there are 10 seats to a table w/ only 5 favors on the table.

We put tags around our favors and used them as placecards.
we will most likely be handing the favors out as we say good bye to our guests.

ours are fans to be used at our outdoor ceremony so they'll be laid out on the chairs, one per person.

Our RH requires us to fill out a chart that will say how many people are at the table and how many favors to put at the table
