My MOH is wearing the same dress as the BMs, same color and all...
I understand that this is rare these days- but I gave her the option of picking a different color and she never chose one, so we just did all the same color.
Any ideas on how can I make her 'stand out' as the MOH..other than the different bouquet she wil have?
TIA!

My MOH will probably wear a flower in her hair. Also will be in different jewelry than the others. And the bo-k is bigger. Theres not much else that can be done!
Did u ask the girls to wear the same shoe, hair style etc? If so, you can switch your MOH's styles...
wow..same here. My MOH is going to have different jewlery, different bok and will prob. have a flower in her hair as well. She also has a diff. dress but in the same color as the BM's

my MOH is wearing the same dress, but her BOK will be bigger than the BMs and will be opposite in color to mine. (I'm going to have mostly green with ivory/purple accents, so she'll have mostly ivory with green/purple accents and then the BM will have just green - at least that's the current plan. . .i might change my mind)

I don't think she necessarily has to stand out. It'll be obvious that she is the MOH.
My MOH is also wearing the exact same thing and same color as the other girls. Her bouquet will be bigger, but that's about it.
I also bought all the girls their DOJ (pearl jewelry). Her necklace is slightly larger, but I don't know if that will be noticeable.
The flower in the hair is a nice idea if she's up for that, too.

My MOH also has the same dress, same colors as my BMs. She will have a bigger and different bOK from the rest of BMs, different hairstyle, different hair jewelry too. Also, she'll stand out because she's the one closest to you.

Sorry for crashing but I wanted to tell you what I did. I bought my sister (MOH) a beautiful hairpiece from Denise Leli. It was so pretty and sparkly and she loved it. It was like a hair broach kind of thing. HTH

My MOH is going to have a bigger bouquet with champagne & red roses while the BMs will just have champagne. That's really the only way she'll be standing out. She was allowed to pick a different dress, but she liked the one the BMs chose.

Re: How to help the MOH stand out...
I did want my MOH to stand out, being that she was heavy set, she was going to wear a shawl, so i figured that would make her stand out instead, she never did, but the florist usually gives u an option if u want the MOH's bo-k bigger than the regular BM bo-ks, and thats what I did. Everyone knew she was my MOH, so to me it didnt matter, and they all wore open-toe black shoes, but they were different styles. I wasn't fussy about that.
I think a different color is a cute idea...or maybe if its a 2 piece, her straps can be different as the other girls.....
My friend who got married last July did all the BM in a brownish color[or gold?] w/ an ivory sash and then had the MOH wear the ivory dress with the brownish sash...she just reversed. Havent seen her pix in forever, so I forget what colors...so thats always a great idea, too, if a sash is involved.
Good luck!

My MOH is wearing the same dress and color as BM's but all the girls will have sashes that match their gowns and MOH's will be black. Also, her bo-k wrap is differnt.

Re: How to help the MOH stand out...
i thought of another one - we went to order the BM dresses last night the dresses have a train on teh dress and the sash so my sister (MOH) will have a train on both - both will be bustled after church all teh other girls will keep just teh train on teh dress and the sash will be cut to floor length so it wont have to be bustled

My matron of honor and maid of honor will have similar bo-ks to that of my BP, but the 2 MOHs will have some red flowers in there as well.

I got my MOH a different necklace & earring set- the BM's are getting a smaller one that has amber & peridot stones, hers is all peridot and more blingy.
