My grandmother passed away July 19, 2005. She gave me her mothers diamond ring and my FH took the diamond and put it in a new setting for me. I was wondering how you guys are honoring the loved ones that have passed? I know they have memorial candles, but for her it doesnt seem like enough. Thanks

My dad's girlfriend is pretty amazing...so respectful of my mom, who passed 5 years ago. She cut a piece of my mom's wedding dress and had it sewn within mine.
That is so sweet.

We are having a memorial table at the reception. Its going to have pictures of all those who passed away and we will have a candle burning.
I planned on doing this too. I also want rose petals on the table. I never met my mothers parents b/c they passed away before I was born and my grandfather on my fathers side passed when i was 11.
There is no way I could leave him out of my big day! I miss him so much. FH grandparents on fathers side are also deceased and grandmother on FH's mother's side passed about 2 1/2 years ago. I plan on using their wedding day picture.
I would not feel complete if I did not make them all a part of my wedding.

We are having a table of a bunch of family pictures at the reception. Many of them are grandparents and etc that have passed away. We are also honoring them in the prayer of the faithful during the mass.

My brother passed away and in the program we had a poem and little angel pins that we asked everyone to wear in honor of him..
'Someone Is Missing'
Let this Angel be a loving reminder that someone is missing today, Someone our hearts still hold on to, As we travel along life's way. Someone who made life so special, for all those who gather here, Someone who won't be forgotten, But cherished from year to year. And now as we pause to remember, Let us all fondly recall, how dearly each of us loved him, and oh... how he loved us all!
Please wear this angel pin in memory of Nicole's brother Kenny.
