How to mail invitations

How to mail invitations

Do i need to get the stamps and put them on the envelopes before i go to the post office or can they do it for me?

You need to do it all...and you also need to put the stamp on the RSVP yourself.

I got an invitation last year where the RSVP did not have a stamp on it... and when the Bride called one of our friends to ask why she hasn't sent her RSVP back yet ,they replied' OH sorry... I haven't had a chance to go to the post office to get a stamp to send it to you.' Ha ha....

My RSVP's are stamped, I'm just confused on the outer envelope. I want to mail the invits on saturday and don't know if I should get the stamp before then.

Take one complete invitation (with RSVP card, dircetion card, everything) to the PO and have them weigh it and tell you how much it is to mail it. Then buy the stamps for all of them and put them on yourself. Then, bring them all back to the PO to mail. I guess you could put them all on at the PO, but I am picky about my workspace
