How to pick a DJ?

How to pick a DJ?

I knwo you can go to showcases to see bands perform, but do DJs do the same thing?

Re: How to pick a DJ?

Our DJ had a tape of some of the weddings he did and we got to see him in action we booked him right away

Re: How to pick a DJ?

Yes, and I highly recommend you go. Not only do you get to see the dj in action, but you can also see which MC your interested in and what kind of extras they offer.

Re: How to pick a DJ?

Yea, most showcases feature both. First they let the band play for about a half hour then the DJ goes and they let each MC do their thing so you get to see which one you like best.

Tomorrow night LI Sound is playing at Eastwind. I highly recommend them, go check 'em out!!

I went to a showcase the other week for FM Entertainment. FH and I were impressed with it and thought Frank did a great job and I know he will be great a the wedding.
This was the only showcase I went to. My hall had a showcase last year with a couple of DJ's..we didn't like the ones the hall had because they pulled you up on the floor and FH and I hate that..that is why we liked FM kinda low key and cater to you needs.
