I have to pic 50 proofs for my album. I have narrowed it down to 142. Which from over 1500 is impressive. AHHH!! How am I going to pick 50.

I would narrow it down by page so if you have a getting ready page you can only have a certain # of shots and pick the best out of those that would look the best in a layout.

Oh gosh...I had to do the same when I got photo books made for our parents as their gift. It was so hard. Ask family and friends, they were a great help for me

We were lucky -- our photographer has an amazing eye for design as well and designed our whole album! All I had to do was go through and tweak a few here and there.
We got it in the mail this week and it looks amazing!!!!
I would suggest doing it by theme pages so you have sort of a flow.

i took out the ones that i totally didn't want. then i went through them and put them into piles from the different 'times' of the wedding. like Before ceremony, during, after, reception...etc...then i went through them and picked out the ones that i JUST HAD to have....and then i went through them again, and i am finally down to 50. it took forever but its finally done!
