how to print your own invites???

Okay, i am going to print my own engagement party invites. I think i'm going to use the postcard style invites. HOW DO I BEGIN?????

By the way, i went to that quick pick paper, or paper quick on 110 just north of 109, GREAT INVITES WITH GOOD PRICES!!!!

I am doing my invites and what I have done (so far) ...

1) browse the web to find a style, layout and color that I like.

2) Play with the fonts in MS Word (or other program) to see what works. Do different wordings and content.

3) Visit computer stores to see what clipart CD's are around that don't cost a bazillion $$. For pictures of flowers or wreaths and the like.

4) Visit Micheals and other stores to get a 'feel' for the paper or stamps or edge punches and etc. Buy a few small cheapy things and test out layouts using Word. This also takes the edge off for when you do it for real.

This is about as far as I've gotten .. but I guess next would be:

5) Test the layouts I like with the cheapy things above.

6) Buy the real stuff and print!

6a) Go buy extra stuff for when I mess up!
