I bougth FH a 50 inch Plasma TV as a wedding gift. Since we are leaving for 2 weeks I decided to pick up the TV once we get back from the Honeymoon, but I want to present FH with his present before the wedding.
Any ideas??

maybe you could take a pic of the tv (in the store or even an ad pic) and put it in a frame and give him that before the wedding?

thanks, I was trhinking of something ike that too.
If i have time tonight I was thinking of doing some creative editing on photoshop and doctor up a picture of FH watching the tv, now how i am gonna do that ..No idea.

You're getting the same exact gift for your FH that i'm getting mine! I can't wait to see the look on his face when he realizes it!!!
Yeah i'm probably going to stick the picture in a frame or in the card. The only part is... my FH is so particular about what he wants, that i'm not going to choose the tv (i have an idea but a lot can change in the next few months with tv's). I'm going to maybe put it as a gift certificate or something and just let him pick it out. God forbid i get the wrong one, you know?
I wouldn't worry so much about how you're going to present it to him. He'll be so floored by it that he won't even remember what it came in or how you did it.

Well since I did customer pick up for when we come back, they said that if FH wants a different model or type of tv we can change it, before we pick it up. But they said this is the best & biggest they had so that should satisfy any male ego

how about wrapping a cheap, black and white 10' t.v., and writing...
'Now multiply this by 5, turn it into color, add an 'H' and a 'D' and make the screen flat... and that's what will be waiting for you when we get home from our honeymoon!!!'

hmm... i wonder if i can do that. Thats good to know. Yeah my FH mentioned a 52' tv, which i don't think exists. The biggest one i've seen is a 50'. What you need a 50' tv for is beyond me... but whatever makes him happy!

FYI... they do. My FH found one, and we now own it. lol. It's a 56' Samsung Flat Screen DLP. It really is a beautiful television. I highly recommend it! He did a lot of research, and apprently this DLP technology is the way to go. Plasma burns out, and you have to buy a new tv. When DLP burns out down the road, you just have to replace the bulb inside.
