How was 2011 and what are u looking forward to in 2012
Saw a similar post in the Newlyweds boards I thought I steal it ..
the Good: My husband and I are doing great in our jobs and feel truly blessed decided to buy a home Finally got my license and a new 2012 mercedes ( one for me one for hubby) My oldest starting catholic school and making honors in her first semester GREAT daycare for my youngest all the getaways, first family vacay, lots of fun with friends/family
The BAd:
FIL getting a sudden heart attack, that caused him to get a trechiotamy ( malpractice)
for 2012:
Hopefully becoming home owners. another family vacation this time to DR my daughters will meet my father for the first time and I will see him for the first time in over 10 years Finalizing all our plans for our destination wedding!
Best of all being able to say ' I am getting married next year'
Hoping God continues to bless our family with health, jobs, love and happiness

The Good: Getting engaged!!! <3 Finished my Masters degree with a 3.97 Took part in the wedding of two of my best friends
The Bad: My new puppy having to have 3 major surgeries before she was 6 months old damage to our property from the crazy Halloween snow storm
2012: success in both of our careers stress free wedding planning and...being able to say I am getting married next year (took that one from you!!)

the bad My son spilled boiling water on himself and ended up in the hospital for 4 days with 2nd/3rd degree burns. It was terrible To this day I still cry over it.
for 2012 Heading back to work Our disney trips!! Wedding Planning Hopefully saving tons of $$$ for a downpayment

The Good - First full year FH and I have lived within driving distance - getting engaged - week long Pennsic trip
The Bad - Warning at work in February
2012: - 1 year until married to my best friend - hopefully stress-free wedding planning - saving $$$ for a downpayment on house/condo - several exciting trips planned

The Good Getting Engaged & finding this board- I seriously would be SO lost without all of these great ideas here. Reaching 110% of my fundraising goal at work. Getting a story for my organization on NY1 News- we had an 8 year old New Yorker of the Week! Moving in with FH. Booking all of our major vendors Road trip to FL with my FH to see his family
The Bad FH spending a week in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism- he missed his entire semester b/c of the hospital stay. Even though I am happy to live with FH, it's hard moving away from my hometown and my quick commute to the city!
2012 Saving saving and more saving Kicking a** even more at work Losing weight Getting FH gainfully employed once again Getting into a Masters program

Thank you! He was only 18 months at the time, which is why we spent so long at the hospital. Within a month he was fine, and now its just a thing of the past. No marks or anything! It was horrible as a mom to see him in that pain Worst part was, I was maybe 10 feet from him, but I wasnt able to get there to stop the cup from tipping over.. Hoping 2012 is much kinder to us

I am sorry and thank goodness there are no marks and he's all good now.. these kids are so active now a days u have to have a million eyes on them I have 2 girls a 2 yr old and a 7 yr old and they ware me down BOY!!!! but as u said its a thing from the past and hopefully 2012 will be a better year for you and ur familu

Good in 2011:
Healthy, happy families & friends We got engaged! Went to Disney World twice Las Vegas trip Fiance' got a raise at work! Booked our church & venue, invites & wedding shoes are done!
Bad in 2011:
Like I said, our families & friends (& we!) were all happy & healthy this year... that's all you can ask for! We have no right/reason to complain!
And our hopes for the that to continue into 2012 and beyond for us and for all of you as well!

as far as years, it's not so much 2012 that i'm worried about--it's being 28. 27 was an amazing year: got engaged, bought a house, adopted a puppy and scored my dream job. There's no way 28 can compare. I already sprained my ankle badly that apparently didn't heal right, have been more sickly and more broke than ever! blahhh ..28 sux! but 2012 brings my brothers' weddings and FH & I are that much closer to our own wedding!
