Hope everyone enjoyed last night!! I had fun at a cousins party....it was my sons FIRST new years! we dressed him up in a suit and tie, it didnt last all night but was cute! i will post pics soon!!
any good stories??
on our way home, there was a police car behind us and flashed his lights...we were like OMG but then it ended up being the car behind us getting pulled over not us! WHEW. we didnt drink and drive, but it would have been a bad way to start the year LOL
P.S. my FIL is still celebrating new years! my FH is picking him up from the party now...!!

Haha thats funny about your FIL. I bet your son looked adorable, I'm glad you had fun!!
We got dressed up here, went to the main club on base where everyone and 20 minutes later the base commander said that we went into heavy storm conditions and everyone had to evacuate. When we left it was hard to drive down the road there was no visibility.
I had to man the operations center from 130-530 in the morning. But i'm not complaining, we totally knew it was gonna be a bad storm so we just kinda hung out, I didn't even watch anythign on tv, we pretty much pretended we didn't miss anything.

New Years Eve was great. The only thing I would have changed is that my FH was working and I did not get to spend it with him.
I went to a friend's house and her husband, my friend and her 7 year old daughter played board games and drank.
I had crystal champagne for the first time. It was definitely delicious!

Happy New Year ladies!!! :) I was telling everyone last night after midnight 'I'm getting married NEXT year!!!' lol I blame it on the Stoli ;) haha
We had a lot of fun- we went to Jericho Terrace with friends, my brother and his girlfriend and some of their friends. I was very excited because we were in the dome room and that's where my sweet 16 was. I was excited to show FH, lol. We had a really nice time.
Your son must have looked adorable!!! Can't wait to see pictures :)

Spent it w/ 2 other couples and it was low key but fun - watched TV and loved the NKOTBSB songs just before midnight!! Glad everyone had a great time and once again Happy New Year!

We had a low key new years. We had dinner with my parents then went to FH house for drinks. FH got pretty drunk and passed out right after the ball dropped! lol I'm glad all you ladies had a good new years.

I had a pretty low key new years too, but it was great :) Went to dinner and to see Little Fockers with some of our close friends. Then we spent some time with his fam. After midnight we went to my house and spent some time with my fam :)

Spent the NYE in Brooklyn with our closest couple friends we've had since HS (of course including KrisCharl on the 2011 boards who I talk of often).

It was great! We spend NYE with friends we haven't seen in a while which is always nice! Most of my friends have children so it was so cute to watch them open their Christmas gifts and be so excited to see each other.
New Years Day, FH and I just stayed home with some tv, wedding planning and some VERY bad food!
Sounds like everyone had a really nice night/day :)
May 2011 bring nothing but wonderful things for everyone!

FH and I and our friends went to Chateau Briand for NYE. SOOOO MUCH FUN!! I would definitely go back next year!! Even though the food wasn't that great, the band Paris was phenomenal. If FH and I were doing a band for our reception we would definitely book them!

FH and I spent NYE at home at apartment it was quiet and i had made a bunch of finger foods and had some beers and champange at midnight. Glad everyone had a nice NYE
