how would you display a donation

how would you display a donation

as a favor if we decide to do a donation, would you :
1. make an individual business size card to go at each place setting or
2. make a thank you sign framed with donation info and place by card box/ or where would you place it?
or any other ideas??

how would you display a donation - Long Island Weddings

I was at a wedding last April where they did this. Every place setting had a card in a little frame with the donation information on it. I will say, no one took those home and my cousin was left with all those little frames and nothing to do with them. So if you're going to go that route, I would go with the business card, maybe placed with the menu or above the place setting.

We put ours on our program after all the thank yous.

i've only been to one wedding where they did this, and it was a small card placed at eat setting.

we donated to st jude and we picked bookmarks with a really beautiful explaination of it.

look into the place you are donating to. it may inspire someone else to donate as well

I'm making a thank you / donation card for each place setting and it will be a smaller card (maybe swuare) so that will sit on top of the menus

I've seen a larger frame indicating the donation on both the escort table and the seating tables.

We donated to Susan G Komen and American Heart Association.
I typed up a nice sign and put it in a 8x10 frame on the seating card table.
Our venue also printed what we wrote for the donation on the bottom of the menus.

I LOVE this idea! I have been having arguments with my FMIL about how to display this. How did you make the bookmarks?

We are thinking if doing this now to instead of my custom fortune fortune cookie idea!!
I.think we are going to donate to our dog's rescue. I.was thinking of missing a nice poem or something and tieing a ribbon around it with a 'capture the moment' it's basically a thick paper picture frame. Ill tags apicture of us with the dog wearing a thank you sign to.put oin the frame. I'll try to.post a pic off them. And I'll share the link for us too!!

I got Mikasa frames for my shower so I made a nice poster with photos and myself and my FH with pets, saying that we have donated to various animal organizations since we are both avid animal lovers. I'm placing on the table with the placecards. The FH said he's going to make scrolls for everyone but I'll believe it when I see it.
