How would you feel UPDATE!

How would you feel if you were the only one out of five cousins not invited to another cousin's wedding? Even my 13 year old brother is invited! To boot, the family hosting the wedding (including the bride to be) drove from PA to Rochester in May for our engagement party (so they are fully aware we are inviting them) and told us we'd see them in August for their wedding. I couldn't sleep last night. Am I getting overly upset that my FI and I are the only ones in the ENTIRE family that did not receive an invitation?

EDITED:
At first I wanted to think it was late, then my mom said that she received her invitation 2-3 weeks ago. I'm the oldest cousin in the family (older than the bride), and all the younger ones are invited. And thye definitely have our address as they received our STD. I'm trying not to be hurt, but I can't help it.

UPDATE:
My mom called my cousin, and they said they sent an invitation to us. I guess it got lost???? Anyway, just wanted to thank those of you that offered advice.

Is there a possibility you just may not have recieved your invitation?

I would definitly talk to them, I can't imagine somebody inviting their entire family less one cousin. And since they did say they would see you for the wedding, I would definitly give a call and see what's going on.

I agree...this sounds like a mistake. you def would be getting your own invitation so maybe it got lost

That happened to me., they said 'no kids' and I was 23 years old., matter of fact It happened to me twice with the same family.

that happened to FH and I...since we live in our own apt, they never sent us an invite. i was a lil upset about it but it was all a mistake. i bet that is what happened.

considering that your younger brother was invited- it seems like a mistake- can you have your parents check?

Maybe it got lost?? things like that happen. You should have your mom call. it's weird that your brother got an invite and you didn't. I would call.

yeah i wouldnt freak out just yet... it sounds like you were 100% being invited... maybe you could ask your cousin if you feel comfortable doing that? i would casually mention that you havent gotten your invitation in the mail yet and see what she says... i mean, you DID get an STD so you HAVE to be invited!!!
