I would probably visit as many parks as possible...that's just me though. I'd probably go to a park a day.

Re: How would you spend a week in Disney?
My recommendation is to stay at a disney world resort and get yourself a park hopper ticket. That way you won't have to worry about transportation and you won't feel obligated to spend an entire day at any specific park. Try to make priority seating arrangements for as many meals as possible (especially character meals if you like seeing/taking pictures with the characters). You don't have to make it to every one of them (or any of them), but if you plan accordingly and happen to be near the spot and in the mood for it you'll be happy you did. And don't forget to visit at least one of the waterparks!! And make it your business to eat at the 50's prime time cafe at MGM!

Re: How would you spend a week in Disney?
I tryped up a whole disney guide for my cousins recently. The best advice is to try to hit the early entry park, leave for a swim break and go back to another park (or the same park). DEFINTELY do at least one -eride night. You buy the tickets in advance at the resort and get a wristband at MK the night of. It's AWESOME. The park is practically empty. I LOVE e-ride nights. If I had a week I'd definitely spend a day in each park, but I usually break it up inot half days. One thing in the morning, break, something else in the afternoon. I was there for 6 days in june. One morning we hit typhoon lagoon and then later that day headed to MGM, hopped the boat to Epcot, etc. It's good to have a game plan but also leave time to be flexible. STAY during rain storms. It's fun and the park empties. Eat at Cosmic Ray's. WHEE! Be sure to see Fantasmic! I could go on forever. Which resort will you be staying at?

Re: How would you spend a week in Disney?
Aside fomr my personaliozed guides , the best disneyworld guide is the frommers unoffical guide to walt disney world. I bought one for my first trip. it gives you just about every detial you could possibly need. ANd keep up on wdwig.com for info too because some things change from press time to now. The 2005 edition should be out by now. Definitely try the new Stitch ride. The ride it replaced kind of sucked, so I hope this is much better. There was so much buildup for it on my last trip. When you passed by the building on the TTA you heard stitch sounds. REALLY cute! I wish I could have gone to passholder previews. *sigh*

I'm going for a week in October with FH and another couple. We have a timeshare, so we are going to spend about 3 or so days at the partks, then visit my sis in Jacksonville for a night and just relax.

DH and I are planning to go in October too! I've never been so I have a lot to research. How many parks are there?

When are you going? We are going the 23rd to the 30th. Halloween time should be fun there!

How do we get tix for that? I was told to buy teh passes online beforehand, that it is cheaper that way. And with this upcoming wedding...I need all the cheapness I can get!
Boo! Don't be afraid. The screams you hear are squeals of delight, not fright. Disney fantasy and Halloween fun come together on selected October nights for a one-of-a-kind celebration. Seize this rare opportunity to visit the Magic Kingdom in costume, and trick-or-treat for candy and goodies with your favorite Disney characters, all in their finest Halloween outfits. With special music, parades and fireworks, this is no trick - it's a real treat.
You trick or treat all night, they take your picture & send it to you ... nice extra touches. We've been many times and it's really fun. I know all the words to the songs from the parade!! We also usually dress up ...
