How would you word 2002?

I think the first one is more correct. Not too sure thought.

Same dilemma for 2001

I personally thought 'two thousand one' sounded better than 'two thousand AND one,' but when we ordered our invites, the guy writing out the order seemed suprised when I said I didn`t want the word 'and' in there. He said it was more common and accepted to use it than not. But, I told him it just didn`t seem right to me, so I left it out, regardless of whether it was 'proper' or not.

I believe the 'and' should be included but they are your invitations, you are paying for them and you should have them worded exactly as you like whether it is 'socially correct' or not!

How would you word 2002?

I am putting TWO THOUSAND TWO. I know when it is said, people usually put in the word AND, but written I believe, in my opinion only, that the AND should be left out.
